Geothermal
Geothermal systems harness constant ground temperatures to heat or cool your space. It uses less energy than traditional systems, which lowers costs and emissions. Though the initial investment is higher, long-term savings make it a worthwhile choice with a minimal footprint.
Utilizing a carefully designed ground looping system, which is dug several feet deep into the earth, cold or hot air is pulled through the interconnected tubes. This air is then either heated or cooled, depending on the season and the specific needs of the occupants, before it returns back into the building. This innovative process effectively maintains a comfortable and ideal temperature year-round, ensuring a pleasant living environment for everyone inside.
Radiant heated flooring
Radiant floor heating offers an incredibly efficient, invisible way to warm your home, all without the annoying noise and lingering dust often associated with traditional forced-air heating systems. The gentle heat generated from the warmed flooring slowly rises throughout the room, ensuring that the warmth is evenly distributed, never drying the air out, and creating a consistently comfortable living environment. This innovative heating solution not only enhances the overall warmth but also contributes to a healthier indoor atmosphere.
We’ll take it as far as you want to.
Non toxic materials
There are numerous effective ways we can significantly reduce the amounts of harmful toxins present in a space. For instance, we can consider using clay or plaster on walls as an alternative to conventional paint, which often contains volatile organic compounds. Additionally, we can opt for hemp or wool insulation that not only provides excellent thermal performance but also contributes to a healthier indoor air quality. Incorporating natural building materials is another excellent strategy; sustainable and recycled materials like steel, responsibly sourced wood, cork, and bamboo offer a variety of options that are both environmentally friendly and aesthetically pleasing. In fact, there are a vast array of choices available for those who wish to create a cleaner living or working environment.
